This image captures the divide between big ideas and implementation. It isn’t too difficult to walk around that wall, talk to real people on the other side, and explain why your strategy is good for everyone: customer, company and team (the whole team). Good ideas turn into work for someone, and they need to know “what’s in it for them” in order to get team buy-in and execution.
A little human interaction and listening goes a long way: either to proving your strategy to be do-able, or useless. Remember: we were given two ears and one mouth for a reason.
